Our relationship with Milton Keynes College started off with our sister company Tindall Security being contracted to design, install and maintain an intruder alarm and CCTV system.

Impressed by our professionalism and excellent customer service, the relationship flourished and we were invited to provide a range of other security services to the college.

There are many groups of people who need access to different areas of the building at different times – teaching staff, pupils, visitors, cleaners, maintenance teams, security teams and more.

Part of the challenge was to provide master key systems that would enable each person to have access to the rooms and cupboards that they needed, whilst limiting their access to other areas.

We designed a complex master key system that provides comprehensive site security whilst offering controlled access to the offices, classrooms, staff rooms, cupboards, canteen area, kitchens and store rooms.

The teaching staff have keys to the internal doors and cupboards, the catering staff have access to the kitchen, pantry and canteen, the cleaners have keys to the cleaning cupboards and internal doors, and the security team have full access including keys to the external doors.

Having designed and installed this complex but effective system, we now manage the keys for the college, providing duplicates only with the correct authorisation. We also provide a maintenance and emergency call-out service.

Our strong relationship with the college in Milton Keynes has led to us being invited to supply the same high standard security services to the Bletchley campus too.
